I watched NBC’s Revolution last night, because I love sci-fi stuff.
Looks like a fun show…but there are a LOT of holes in the “blackout”!
For example…if there is a mysterious event that kills electricity and all electronics, why not just use solar or wind power? Hell, why not a watermill that creates electricity?
And I don’t think a “blackout” would knock out car batteries on a highway like domino’s. One and then the next and then the next…Wouldn’t they go out…ALL AT ONCE? My wife says I shouldn’t look at details like this. But I can’t help it. It’s the “geek” in me. LOL

We finally have our cable back. But we are STILL running on generator power. I’m just happy that my father in-law and brother in-law have their power back so we don’t have to share the generator anymore. We have it until our regular power comes back on! I was told NOT to use my computer on generator power because of possible power spikes. So I’m using my wife’s lap top now. I can’t wait for this ordeal to be over and get back to NORMAL!
As of today (Tuesday 7-3) I still do NOT have power. I am still using my father in-laws generator for only a few hours a day. And internet speed is so slow it might as well be dial up! So no video of the storm damage until I get full power. Thank you to my clients for bearing with me in this rare situation.
