To all my VO peeps: has this ever happen to you?

You audition for a VO job and then get a email or message back saying…”I like you. You’re on the short list. It’s between you Joe, and Steve.” (these names are made up!)

What I mean is, I’ve been told I was on a short list before, but hardly ever has that message included the competitions names! Is that normal?
